Our personal interests include spending family time together, riding horses, skiing, camping and spending time on the farm. We are blessed with three grandchildren who enjoy the same.
I have served on the Board for 24 years and have been elected to various leadership positions which have been a valuable education/learning experiences. During this time, I have had extensive and continued training in order to prepare and season my tenure. My professional career navigates throughout 40 plus years of expertise in the electrical industry. This has given me the insight to understand both the opportunities and demands the Cooperative faces moving forward.
I consider myself to be a tenacious leader. Additionally I pride myself on dedication to a cause, and am a consistent and committed in terms decision making. I enjoy working with this cohesive team to deliver the cooperative mission!
It is important to continue to offer fair rates to our members without compromising excellent service and reliability. In addition, it is imperative youth get informed and involved with the Cooperative mission.
I believe it to be important to remain true to the beginning values of our predecessors but also balance the constant evolution of technology. It is close to my heart to remember to serve and give back to the community. I plan to continue to always be the voice for the member's concerns.
Since being elected in 1999, I continue to remain focused on the primary goals of providing excellent representation to the membership while being attentive to the challenges that we face in the future. It is important to show constant and steady leadership while being open to new technologies and ideas.
