Pennies for Power
Your change can change lives!
Join Adams Electric in its first Project Helping Hand campaign, "Pennies for Power" being held during Co-op Month. PHH is our assistance program which aides members who have fallen on hard financial times to pay their electric bill. Our goal is to help 25 families in need by raising $5,000 from Oct. 1-31, 2017. Anyone can participate and help us reach our goal by donating in one of the following ways:
- GIVE from Oct. 16-19, 2017 in any district office -- a collection will be accepted for Pennies for Power. Each donor will receive a 2-pack of LED light bulbs and an entry in to a drawing for the chance to win a $100 bill credit.
- On "GIVE Day" -- Oct. 19, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m. at each district office, there will be refreshments, as well as handouts and information about Project Helping Hand. Those who donate on GIVE Day will receive a two pack of LED light bulbs and an entry into a separate $100 bill credit drawing.
- Any donation made online to Pennies for Power, during the month of October, will be eligible for a $100 bill credit drawing after payment processing and donors will receive by mail a two-pack of LED light bulbs. Payments will be processed through Pay Pal. Please indicate PHH in the special instructions space. Note: Online donations will be collected through a third party vendor site (Adams County Community Foundation) which holds the co-op's 501c3 status for the PHH program.
- Sign up for Round-Up or Round-up Plus, a program which allows your bill to be rounded up to the next dollar, with the difference going to PHH.
