Adams recognized years of service

GETTYSBURG, PA: Adams Electric Cooperative recently recognized 14 employees and directors for a combined 255 years of dedicated service to the cooperative at its annual employee/director recognition dinner held in October in Lewisberry.

“It is a pleasure to work with so many dedicated people, committed to making Adams Electric a better organization for the communities it serves,” says CEO/General Manager Steve Rasmussen.

Recognized were:

FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE: Mike Hawbaker of York, systems administrator and Max Rinehart of Gettysburg, fourth year apprentice.

10 YEARS OF SERVICE: Eric Altice of Hanover and Brandon Beard of Orrtanna, journeymen first class and Dina Topper of Biglerville, member services representative.

15 YEARS OF SERVICE: Dan Eisenhart of Newville, director; Cecil Knotts of Spring Grove, line serviceman; and Chad Thoman of New Oxford, staff engineer – electrical.

20 YEARS OF SERVICE: Jill Rickle of Glen Rock, member services specialist.

25 YEARS OF SERVICE: Brian Atherton of Newburg, lead lineman and Jay Grove of Shippensburg, director.

30 YEARS OF SERVICE: Jeff Burger of York, staking technician A and Bill Collingsworth of Shippensburg, lead lineman.

40 YEARS OF SERVICE: George Taughinbaugh of Biglerville, safety/energy use manager.
