Adams begins new year with 2 new hires, 1 promotion
Adams Electric Cooperative started off the new year with two new employees and a promotion for a third employee.
Meredith Catchings of New Oxford, began as member services representative – floater in the finance/member services department in early January. She has an associate degree in business management from Harrisburg Area Community College. Before taking the position, Catchings was the marketing and events manager at Battlefield Harley-Davidson.
Also in early January, Andrew Mummert of Chambersburg, began as an information technology specialist within the information technology department at the cooperative’s headquarters. He is a graduate of Alpha Omega Academy, Chandler, Az. Before coming to Adams, he was a computer technician for Upper Adams School District.
Andrew Kuykendall of Biglerville was promoted to first year apprentice in the engineering/operations department in December. He started with the co-op in 2017 as a groundman. Kuykendall is a graduate of Gettysburg Area High School.
