2017 Director Candidates

As a member-owned cooperative, Adams Electric is guided by a board of directors comprised of qualified members who have been elected by the membership. The co-op is divided into nine zones for the purpose of electing directors and to ensure that Adams Electric has representation from all areas of its service territory. Each year, three of those zones have open seats to be filled through the election process. In 2017, board positions in zones 3, 4 and 9 are up for election.

Understanding your director election process

A general election ballot will be mailed or emailed to every member in April. All members are asked to vote for one candidate in each of the three open zones. It does not matter where you live, you may still vote for one candidate in each zone up for election. The election process ends at the co-op’s annual meeting, to be held this year on May 20 at the Gettysburg Area Middle School, 37 Lefever Street, Gettysburg. Learn more about the 2017 Annual Meeting!
