The election process has begun! Board candidates were certified on Feb. 2 by the Credentials and Election Committee to run in the 2012 election. Zones 1, 5 and 8 are open for election. In March, members living in Zone 8 will receive a ballot in the mail to cast their vote in the primaries. Learn about the candidates.

Attention high school seniors! Adams Electric is now accepting applications from sons and daughters of current Adams Electric members for a $750 college scholarship. Scholarships are offered to students attending one of 17 public high schools in the co-op's service territory AND to students attending non-traditional schools or public schools not on co-op lines.
Don't miss out high school juniors! If you have a junior in high school, or know of one, consider offering them the opportunity to become a delegate for the 2012 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. This all expense-paid, chaperoned trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the National Rural Electric Youth Tour, is scheduled for June 17 – 22. Click here for more information.
