Adams Electric members are enrolled in this member benefit discount program from the date their member application is accepted. The program was introduced to members in February of 2010.

How it works...

The program is free to all members. Each membership will receive one card and two key fobs.
Identify a participating business by its Co-op Connections window cling or cash register sticker.
Show your card at participating -- local and national -- businesses to receive a discount on goods or services.
Watch for updates online as new businesses are added.
Your card is good at any participating business -- Nationwide
There is no expiration date on the card

NOTICE: Many of the major retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Costco, only offer online specials; not discounts or deals at the local retail stores.

Added Bonus: Pharmacy Discounts on Prescriptions

The Co-op Connections card also gives members access to 10 to 60 percent savings on most prescriptions at over 48,000 independent pharmacies and national chains, including CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Target and many others.

There are at least 250 participating pharmacies in Adams Electric's service area.
Note: These discounts are not insurance and are not intended as a substitute for insurance.

Since February 2010, Adams Electric card holders filled 6,073 prescriptions using their Co-op Connections card, and saved $90,609.76.

COMING April 2012! Healthy Savings Discounts -- Special offers (not insurance) from Hearing Aid providers, Lab and Imaging Services, Chiropractors and Vision and Dental businesses. Want to learn more? Visit healthysavings.coop to search a list of participating providers. Promotions will include up to 35 percent off hearing aids, from 10-60 percent off blood and lab tests, and from 30-50 percent off back treatments. There is no charge to receive these promotional benefits, but you must have a new co-op connections card with special tracking numbers to access the programs. You may print a temporary card from the Healthy Savings website today using the information from your current Co-op Connections card. Learn more by attending a March Member Meeting. Program to launch in full in April 2012.

Request a contract from the co-op. Call toll-free 888/232-6732 or e-mail your request to kamin@adamsec.coop.
Create a discount or offer for your business which you are willing to honor for all participating members.
Return a signed, completed contract to Adams Electric, 1338 Biglerville Road, P.O. Box 1055, Gettysburg, PA 17325-1055.
