Adams Electric donates digital metersMETERS MOVING ON – Adams Electric has struck a deal with the NRECA International Foundation to donate its old digital meters to a cooperative in need. On July 28, 570 5-dial meters were loaded into a rig, owned by Class 1 Transport, of McVeytown, Pa., by Warehouse Clerk Karen Harner, left. Truck driver Matt Price, right, delivered the meters to a loading site near Raystown, Pa. They will be shipped to Guatemala in early August. Up next, Ron Plank, Adams Electric’s vice president of operations, is filing paperwork with the International Foundation in hopes of donating retired transformers to Cooperative's in both Guatemala and Haiti.
