Adams Electric holds 2011 Member Meetings

Adams Electric is holding five member (zone) meetings throughout its service territory during the month of March. Members and guests enjoy a meal while meeting candidates running for election to the co-op’s board of directors. Also, members will hear more about the co-op's load management program, electricity deregulation (Customer Choice) and where electric rates are headed — all in an informal, “town hall” format.

Members who are already registered for the meeting are asked to bring their Adams Electric Co-op Connections card to the exhibit area at each meeting to pick up a gift courtesy of the Co-op Connections program. Other exhibitors include Adams Electric’s Energy Use team, Co-op Owners for Political Action and Aero Energy.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with exhibits, and energy specialists available to answer questions. All meetings begin at 6 p.m. sharp.
